Hope
Give me hope.
Hope that one day my mind will settle between the grains of the ashy
soil,
Which encompasses the land I once walked on,
Give me hope,
That my energy will be transferred back to the source
And with some mercy the source will engulf it with earnest love and
joyous affection.
Give me hope,
That as my body turns back into the clay in which it was once formed,
To feed the many creatures that still runs with energy,
That I truly will be distant from the pale blue dot that my ancestors
first walked upon
And the legacy that I left behind will continue to grow throughout the
generations.
My genetics,
My inspirations,
My writings,
And these words.
Give me hope,
That everything that I believed and felt was not just merely my
imagination,
And instead the persuasive song of the hopelessly befuddled.
Give me hope,
That what I stand for is meant for something greater than just merely a
foot against the pavement.
Give me hope,
That the source of all of creation was more than just a series of
fortunate events
Which will inevitably lead to a series of unfortunate events,
An abrupt,
Disruptive,
Quick ending,
With nothing more than just a shy shrug to the consequences of living
at some point in time.
Give me hope,
That life is much more than this.
Give me hope that,
Above all else,
Above anything else in which a person can every conjure up in this
minute we have on Earth,
That we truly do exist.
That…
That hope to realize that we do live and we do matter in the grand
scheme of life.
That hope that we are to love,
And we are to care for each other for the betterment of all of
creation.
That hope that this life,
Everything that is all around us,
Really did happen and that we are not figments or dreams of another
person’s imagination.
For I have felt the loss of hope one day.
I have entered into a trance where my soul slept and my mind stood
still,
I did not exist.
Feel that for a moment.
Think about that for a moment.
Whatever you do doesn’t matter because you are not a human,
Or an animal,
But merely a figment
From another.
That the reason why no one can figure out our origins
Because we originated from another being’s imagination and
You are merely controlled by the dictation of that creature’s emotions.
That everything we discovered,
This world,
This universe,
Was just merely a figment of a stream of thoughts,
From another creature.
When we perish,
All the things we have ever done,
The people that we have ever loved, and
The legacy in which we aspired to have,
Will disappear in the midst of our eyes falling asleep one last time.
For I am no fool.
We do not pray for rain or our salvation.
We do not fear or love or cry out to God for mere protection.
We do not catch the Holy Spirit or
Start a war or
Praise our accomplishments merely for the sake of praising.
We don’t believe in God just to believe in God.
We have faith, dream, pray, speak, stand, and live to this tune because
We want to truly know for a hard earned fact…
That we really do exist.
So leave me alone,
Telling me how insignificant I am in the scope of the cosmos,
I already know.
So leave me alone,
Trying to deter me from the little faith that I do have,
He already knows.
Now leave me alone,
Throwing me into the bowels of the sophisticated,
Gnawing earnestly into my dignity,
Frantically clawing down the trenches in which I built with my own
heart.
The strength that I have is merely an illusion,
And I speak of this to let you know,
To let all my family know,
Past, present, and future,
That without this faith in the Almighty God above,
Without this hope in which He grants me every single day of my life,
Without this love He showers me in as I arise each and every morning,
I would not exist here today to say,
Give me hope,
Or let me go.
I have the key to the Kingdom of God,
Everyone has the key.
Just as everyone has the key,
Everyone has the choice to use the key,
Or not.
Through this body of existence we choose,
To believe that we exist and are greater for it,
Or that we don’t.
For all of human history this is the argument,
In which people live,
And die for.
