Yangu Dunia

The series which I will be working on for many years to come is titled Yangu Dunia. It might change, but as of today, that's the name of the series. It is a group of short stories that surround a world that I've been dreaming about since I was twelve. The first story of this series is a very poorly written tale (at leas poorly written to my standards) that sets the framework for the entire series. It is called Rockwood. Rockwood (soon to be rewritten even though I technically published it) is a story about a guy who is a criminal with a certain purpose. The reader is his biographer, taking down his story. However, I have every ounce of confidence that I can write that story into the epic glory that I watched inside my head, so once I write a few more tales, I'll work on Rockwood again.

At the moment though, I'm working on Coveland. A man who, in my opinion, doesn't know what he wants in a woman. He figures it out eventually and marries the girl, but things get more complicated when they decide to get married and have a family. It's not directly related to the Rockwood story. Kind of a side tale, but they live in the same world as Rockwood.

Before I go on, I should probably mention something else. Each of these stories are named after the city or country that the story is coming from. The city of Rockwood, to me, is the central point of this entire series. Everything else surrounds Rockwood directly or indirectly. The country of Coveland surrounds Rockwood indirectly while the city of Torrance (another story to be told later) is direct.

The end result of the entire series will be shown later on. I have it painted in my head and written down in my notebook a nice chunk of the beginning and the last book. I'm just working on filling in the middle. With some time I can draw out a more accurate map of this world so to use it as the photo finish to years of trying to get these stories told.
